Mr Petrolo was unable to exercise for years, let alone go for a decent walk, due to a chronic health condition affecting the nerves in my feet (as well as other parts of my body). My weight had ballooned to 140kgs.

In a Dark Place

As a result of what was going on in my life, including resigning from work, my mental health was not in a good state, sometimes in a very “dark” place.

After Weight Loss Surgery

Look at me now, after 8 months, 98kg - I am so happy, especially within myself, 

I have regained my self-esteem, my overall health has improved, and, most of all, I have a new lease of life.

The decision to go ahead with the bariatric surgery was the best decision I have made in a very long time.

Vincent is on track to reach 90 kg by 12 months post-op.
